  • An email address you check. You sign in with a code sent by email, so you need no password.
  • Owners who live in Aruba: the persoonsnummer (personal ID number) on the ID card (sedula). No copy of the ID is needed.
  • Owners who live outside Aruba: a copy of the passport photo page.
  • For each unit: its address, so you can place it on the map, and the month it first took paying guests if that was before 1 November 2026.
  • Proof for the reference date of 1 November 2026: the final list of documents will be published here.

Common questions

DraftThis information may change before launch.

Who is registration for?

Every existing vacation rental in Aruba, including rentals that already have a permit. Each unit is registered separately. Registering is what includes a property in the proposed one-time tolerance policy (gedoogbeleid).

Does registration give me a permit?

No. Registration does not grant a permit or automatic legalisation. It identifies existing properties and gives government an accurate picture, so the right follow-up route can be determined. Your property will be assessed separately, later.

Why does 1 November 2026 matter?

1 November 2026 is a reference date. It separates rentals that already existed from new projects. The registration dates will be announced on this website.

What does the reference date mean for me?

In the form you say whether your unit was operating before 1 November 2026. If it was, you give the month it first took paying guests. You also say which proof you can upload.

How will I register?

Sign in on this website with your email. Then complete four steps: owner, property, documents, and review and submit.

Do I need an account?

Yes. You sign in with a code we send to your email, so you don't need a password. If you are new, the same code creates your account.

Do I need to upload a copy of my ID?

If the owner lives in Aruba, no. You give the persoonsnummer (personal ID number) on the ID card (sedula) instead. If the owner lives outside Aruba, you upload a copy of the passport photo page.

Is my data public?

No. Anyone can check a registration number, but the check shows only the number, the status, the district, the unit type and the maximum number of guests. Names, ID numbers, addresses and exact locations are never public, and there is no public map of rentals.
